About Helen

I pursued a Masters in Public Health because I wanted to view health holistically in order to address the complex factors that can influence nutrition and wellness. There are so many social determinants of health that affects you in your every day life and it is important to keep that in mind as we are working together! Access to nutrition should be easy and I am here to help facilitate that. I’m passionate about every aspect of nutrition—from community public health to medical nutrition therapy. I’ve worked with a variety of demographic populations and believe that I am able to meet you where you are in your health journey.

Approach to care

As a dietitian, my approach to care is participant-led and highly collaborative, ensuring that each individual's needs, preferences, and goals are at the center of the process. I believe in empowering participants by fostering a supportive environment where they feel heard and actively involved in their care. By working together, we can create personalized nutrition strategies that are practical, sustainable, and aligned with your lifestyle, health objectives, and cultural values. My goal is to guide and support you in achieving lasting, positive changes through education, shared decision-making, and mutual respect.

Your first session with Helen

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a foundation of trust. My goal is to ensure I’m the right provider to support you in achieving the goals you’ve set for yourself. My priority is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected. Food holds many meaningful connections—to our physical, emotional, and mental well-being—and I want to explore what those connections mean to you personally. This process is a partnership, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. Together, we’ll define what nutrition and health mean to you and work collaboratively to set realistic, meaningful short- and long-term goals
