About Helen
I chose to pursue a Master’s in Public Health because I believe that health is about so much more than just what’s on your plate. There are so many factors such as where you live, your access to resources, your daily stressors that can impact your nutrition and overall well-being. My goal is to look at the full picture and support you in a way that takes all of that into account. As a dietitian, it’s my job to help you make informed choices about the food you eat, but I also want to emphasize: you are in control. Your health is your own, and I’m here to walk alongside you—not to tell you what to do, but to provide guidance, education, and support that’s grounded in both science and compassion.
Approach to care
As a dietitian, my approach is collaborative and participant-led—your needs, goals, and preferences always come first. I’m here to support and guide you, not dictate your choices. Together, we’ll build practical, sustainable nutrition strategies that fit your life, honor your values, and help you feel empowered in your health journey.
Your first session with Helen
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a foundation of trust. My goal is to ensure I’m the right provider to support you in achieving the goals you’ve set for yourself. My priority is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected. Food holds many meaningful connections—to our physical, emotional, and mental well-being—and I want to explore what those connections mean to you personally. This process is a partnership. Together, we’ll define what nutrition and health mean to you and work collaboratively to set realistic, meaningful short- and long-term goals.
