About Hillary
I am a Registered Dietitian with ten years of experience working primarily with high-level athletes and exercising people at the collegiate and professional level. I integrate my exercise physiology education with the application of nutritional sciences to help my athletes to fuel, recover, and perform to the best of their abilities. I am also well-versed in vitamins and supplements and happy to discuss your regimen.
Approach to care
My philosophy on nutrition encompasses a blend of current science, nutrition, and exercise physiology research, appropriate education and counseling methods, and trusting relationships with patients. I aim to provide education in an easy to understand and applicable way, rather than in a lecture. I want to be collaborative with patients to identify what changes realistically work in their life in order to help patients be the most successful and satisfied. I also actively work against any notion that foods are “good” or “bad” and instead promote all foods as part of a well-balanced diet and want to foster a positive relationship with food that allows for realistic lifelong changes.
Your first session with Hillary
I will listen to your goals and motivations for nutrition therapy, help identify roadblocks and pain points, and understand where you are at in your change process. I will then provide education and different directions we can go in to help you reach your goals. We will work together to determine which direction is the best fit for you and your lifestyle, and map out a plan so you have transparency moving forward. Whether it is athletic performance, men or women's general health, or anything in between, I'm here to help!
