About Hillary

I began my career as a Registered Dietitian in 2013, following my earlier work as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. My experience spans diverse settings, including low-income communities, elementary schools, daycares, hospitals, and weight loss clinics, all of which have shaped the clinician I am today. In recent years, I have worked extensively with weight loss and Bariatric surgery patients, helping them navigate their health journeys. As a breast cancer survivor, I understand the challenges life can bring, and I am passionate about empowering and inspiring my patients to achieve their best quality of life. Based in sunny Tampa, I love spending time outdoors with family and friends—especially when the weather cooperates!

Approach to care

I believe in a personalized approach to patient care—nutrition is never one-size-fits-all! With training in motivational interviewing and mindful eating, I strive to create a supportive and uplifting environment where you feel comfortable exploring sustainable changes that work for you.

Your first session with Hillary

My priority is to create a supportive and comfortable space where you feel safe sharing your concerns, questions, and goals. During our initial session, we’ll discuss what brought you to Nourish, review your health history, current eating habits, relevant lab work, medications, and complete a comprehensive nutrition assessment. From there, we’ll work together to develop a personalized plan that aligns with your lifestyle, focusing on realistic expectations, sustainable changes, and both short-term and long-term goals. In our follow-up sessions, we’ll fine-tune your plan, explore helpful nutrition resources, provide education, and track your progress to ensure you feel confident and supported every step of the way.
