About Holly
Hi, I’m Holly, a Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping people reconnect with food, their bodies, and their health in a compassionate, sustainable way. I have degrees in Nutrition & Dietetics from both The Ohio State University and University of Delaware, which keeps my practice grounded in evidence-based nutrition. Plus I'm a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, which means I’ve received specialized training to help clients break free from the dieting mindset, cultivate body trust, and find peace with food. I currently work full-time as the RD for Towson University, supporting college students in developing balanced relationships with nutrition. When I’m not doing nutrition work, you can find me cooking, hiking, or relaxing with a good book and my old dog.
Approach to care
At the heart of my nutrition counseling is a deep respect for each individual’s unique story, body, and goals. I believe that health is about more than numbers on a scale—it’s about feeling empowered in your choices, connected to your body, and supported every step of the way. My approach is rooted in compassion, free from weight stigma, and centered around your personal definition of well-being. I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where all bodies are welcome and where health is pursued through sustainable, nourishing habits rather than restriction or shame. As a Registered Dietitian with experience in lifestyle-related disease management and behavior change, I support clients in a range of goals—from improving medical conditions to exploring a more peaceful relationship with food. While I tend to take a weight-neutral approach, I honor that weight loss may be a goal for some clients, and I work to support those intentions without compromising mental or physical health.
Your first session with Holly
Your first session is all about you. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a supportive, collaborative relationship centered around your goals, values, and lived experience. First, we'll determine your goals - whether they’re related to health conditions, energy levels, relationship with food, or something else entirely. We'll also explore your lifestyle and any relevant history. For example, we might discuss your current diet, your relationship with food, your definition of "healthy", or any relevant medical history, lab work, or symptoms that may inform our work together.
