About Holly

I'm Holly, a registered dietitian, intuitive eating counselor, and a lover of all things nutrition and science. I'm passionate about helping others take a realistic approach to their health through optimized nutrition and behavioral changes. I've been providing nutrition coaching and therapy for almost two decades, and I've seen and done it all! Now I provide nutrition counseling and coaching to glorious humans (such as yourself) to help them feel fantastic about their health and nutrition habits. I'd love to help you get started!

Approach to care

I approach health and nutrition from a non-diet lens. This means I'll highlight all the really important nutrition principles from science and research, but without pressure to lose weight or manipulate your body into a smaller size. I'm aligned with Health at Every Size (HAES) because I'm a big fan of food and body autonomy, and I believe everyone should have that while they are prioritizing their nutrition and overall wellbeing. Want to learn how to eat so you can really live and enjoy your life? Stick with me! During our work together, I'll strive to honor your individual needs and preferences while working towards your goals. I'll translate science-based information into simple terms, and I'll work with you to create a plan with practical strategies so you can develop a balanced and free relationship with food. Cultivating and maintaining body respect is also a large part of our work together.

Your first session with Holly

In our first session, we'll talk - a lot. I'll ask you about your goals, habits, health history, and "I know I should, but..." moments. Don't worry - you'll be in a judgment-free zone! Then we'll start finding your true roadblocks (spoiler - it's rarely about food!) like emotional eating, schedule chaos, body image stress, or goals that may have been unrealistic in the past. I'll also dive into other lifestyle factors, like sleep habits and stress management. We'll work together to come up with a realistic plan that works for your life, whether it's meal planning, behavioral changes or body image work, grocery strategies, or lifestyle tweaks. You'll leave the session with specific strategies and tangible changes you can use to begin working towards your intended goals. And hopefully you'll be feeling extra good about yourself!

If you were to see me in the wild, I'd likely be spending time with my two beautiful kiddos, being active in nature, or checking out some live music.
