About Holly
After struggling to choose a career path, I finally asked my mom, "What could you see me doing for a career?" She said, Well, I think you'd make a great dietitian. She knew my passion before I did. That's when I really started to understand that how important food and lifestyle were to me. Listening to those with wellness goals or health needs that have been brushed aside I found myself digging deeper to understand a larger picture. This lead me to stronger interests in health concerns like women's health, PCOS, weight management, GI health and longevity.
Approach to care
I have a functional medicine, root cause-based approach to care. I use motivational interviewing in my nutrition counseling. Additionally, I believe in the importance of really listening to my patient and find approaches to care that are both manageable and effective.
