About Hope

I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nutrition from Samford University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and a deep passion for helping others build healthier relationships with food. I began my career as a clinical Dietitian in the hospital setting, gaining experience with a wide variety of medical conditions. For the past four years, I’ve served with the Department of Veterans Affairs as an outpatient and MOVE! Weight-Management Dietitian. Working with veterans has strengthened my belief that meaningful change doesn’t have to be overwhelming. I’m passionate about helping individuals identify small, realistic shifts that can make a big impact—improving not just their health, but how they feel in their everyday lives. Life is busy, and taking care of yourself shouldn’t add to the stress. My goal is to empower people with practical tools and sustainable habits so they can feel their best while still living life on their terms.

Approach to care

I take a whole-person approach to health, focusing on small, meaningful changes rather than overwhelming overhauls. Tracking calories or physical activity can feel intimidating, so my goal is to make the process simple and sustainable. No matter what your health goals are, I aim to help you build a healthier lifestyle in a way that feels manageable—and makes a noticeable difference in how you feel every day.

Your first session with Hope

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you—your lifestyle, your struggles, your health concerns, your goals, and the reasons you’re seeking support. I believe that building a genuine relationship from the start creates a more personal and effective experience, allowing us to work together in a way that feels meaningful and collaborative. We’ll talk through what you’re currently doing day-to-day, then identify one or two realistic changes to begin working on. From there, we’ll build on your goals step by step, creating a sustainable path forward that fits your life and helps you feel your best.
