About Hope
I earned both my Bachelorâs and Masterâs degrees in Nutrition from Samford University, where I built a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and developed a passion for helping people build healthier relationships with food. I began my career as a clinical Dietitian in the hospital setting, gaining experience with a wide range of medical conditions. For the past four years, Iâve worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs as an outpatient and MOVE! Weight-Management Dietitian. In December 2025, I completed the Certificate of Obesity and Weight Management in Pediatrics and Adults. I believe meaningful change doesnât have to be overwhelming and enjoy helping individuals make small, realistic shifts that support lasting health, confidence, and quality of life.
Approach to care
I take a whole-person approach to health, focusing on small, meaningful changes rather than overwhelming overhauls. Tracking calories or physical activity can feel intimidating, so my goal is to make the process simple and sustainable. No matter what your health goals are, I aim to help you build a healthier lifestyle in a way that feels manageableâand makes a noticeable difference in how you feel every day.
Your first session with Hope
In our first session, my focus is on getting to know youâyour lifestyle, your struggles, your health concerns, your goals, and the reasons youâre seeking support. I believe that building a genuine relationship from the start creates a more personal and effective experience, allowing us to work together in a way that feels meaningful and collaborative. Weâll talk through what youâre currently doing day-to-day, then identify one or two realistic changes to begin working on. From there, weâll build on your goals step by step, creating a sustainable path forward that fits your life and helps you feel your best.
