About Hope

Nutrition has always felt like a practical art to me, something you can learn and live with joy. I completed my MS in Nutrition Science at Texas Woman's University and practice as an RD, LD, with experience working in clinical hospital settings. Based in Grapevine, Texas, I'm passionate about teaching others the beauty and purpose of nutrition, and I hope to make a healthy lifestyle approachable to all. When I'm not counseling, you'll find me cooking, rock climbing, hiking, reading, or painting.

Approach to care

Evidence should guide care, and compassion should guide conversation. I combine the science from my MS and RD training with a warm, nonjudgmental stance so we can focus on lasting habits rather than quick fixes. I am a Christian, and I am passionate about how we view food can affect our spiritual life. I would love to integrate faith in our conversations if this interests you! We'll set clear, practical steps and use measurable actions for accountability, while I teach the why behind each choice. I practice weight-neutral, behavior-focused care that looks at the whole person, so together we'll build sustainable changes that fit your life. Your first session with Hope

Expect a relaxed, curious conversation where we’ll explore your relationship with food and review your medical history in a safe, judgment-free space. We'll take time to understand your routines, wins, and frustrations, then identify one or two short-term goals that feel realistic and helpful. I’ll explain the evidence behind suggestions and offer practical steps so you leave with a clear, manageable plan. You don't need to have it all figured out, we'll figure it out together.
