About Ian
Hello friends! I am a registered dietitian who hopes to help you achieve your best health goals. I understand there is a lot of misinformation out there, or information that sounds good, but you may be confused about what to do. I want to help clear the mud and get you to the truth. I enjoy all aspects of nutrition and all foods! So I aim to help you enjoy the foods you want while helping your health goals become a reality.
Approach to care
This is an amazing journey we get to be on together. I want to hear your story, concerns, past experiences, and desires for the future. I don't want to push diets, fads, or facts at you. However, I do want us to understand each other and, from a strong foundation, take steps to a healthier life at your pace. I enjoy all types of foods and don't eliminate any major food groups. I will work with you as we navigate this journey.
Your first session with Ian
During the first half of the session, we will get to know each other. You bring your story, I bring mine. We can ask each other questions about topics of concern, past efforts and struggles, your goals, aspirations for health, and how I can best help. Then, during the next half, after getting to know you, we will be setting up some easy goals to work on till our next meeting. Nothing crazy or extreme, just the next step that we come up with together!
