About Isabel
Hi, Iām Isabel! Iām a Registered Dietitian with over five years of experience, from supporting athletes at IMG Academy to working with clients in wellness and mental health nutrition. My passion for nutrition began in high school as a competitive basketball player, when I discovered how properly fueling my body improved my performance on the court. That experience sparked a lifelong interest in nutrition, leading me to study it at Cornell University. As a dietitian, Iām passionate about teaching others how to use nutrition to fuel their bodies, feel energized, and show up as their best selves every day.
Approach to care
I believe in an all-foods-fit approachābecause food is meant to fuel your body and be enjoyed. As your provider, Iām here to share nutrition knowledge and help you use it in a way that feels realistic and supportive of your goals. Weāll work together to translate science into practical, sustainable steps you can maintain long term. My approach focuses on behavior change, tuning into hunger and fullness cues, and finding joy in nourishing foods rather than relying on restriction. Your favorite foods will always have a place. hrough a holistic, educational approach, my goal is to empower you to understand your body and make choices that support your mind, body, and what works best for you.
Your first session with Isabel
Our first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin planning our journey to helping you achieve your goals. Weāll review your health and nutrition history and take a deeper look at your relationship with food and your nutrition goals. My aim is to understand what motivates you, what has helped you in the past, what challenges youāve faced, and what youād like to achieve. Together, weāll identify one to two short-term, realistic, and actionable goals. You donāt need to have everything figured outājust come as you are, and by the end of the session, weāll have outlined clear first steps toward achieving your goals.
