About Isabel
Hi, I am Isabel, a Registered Dietitian (RD) currently based in Mississippi! I discovered my passion for nutrition in my pursuit of becoming the best runner I could be. I competed in D1 track and cross country at North Carolina State University where my drive for perfection led to a poor relationship with food and a run-down body. I have since developed a much more balanced approach to nutrition and am passionate about helping others do the same.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I anchor our work in current science while honoring your values and daily life, and I meet you where you are with warmth and patience. I view health through a holistic lens that includes sleep, stress, and activity, not just meals. We'll set clear, sustainable goals with practical steps, always prioritizing long-term change over quick fixes. This approach helps you build confidence and skills that last!
Your first session with Isabel
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll talk through your medical history, daily routines, and your relationship with food in a non-judgmental space. You don't need to have every answer ready; this is a starting point to understand what matters most to you and what has held you back. Together, we'll identify 1-2 realistic short-term goals and outline simple steps you can begin this week, with support and accountability along the way.
