About Jackie
Hi, I'm Jackie. I'm a Registered Dietitian with 11 years of experience across clinical hospital teams and endocrinology care. I earned a Certificate of Training in Obesity Interventions, a BS in Dietetics from Eastern Michigan University, and a BA in Public Relations from SUNY Oswego. I’m proud to hold CDCES, RD, LD, and RD credentials. Outside the clinic, I love reading, gardening, crafting, decorating, and hanging out with family and friends. I bring a warm, evidence-based approach to help you build sustainable changes that fit your life.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends science with humanity. I base recommendations on current evidence and translate research into doable steps. I work with you in a warm, nonjudgmental space where you are heard and respected. We’ll set clear, achievable actions and track progress together, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. I practice with a HAES mindset, honoring your relationship with food and your body while encouraging healthy behaviors. I educate you to understand the why behind the plan so you can make informed decisions long after our sessions.
Your first session with Jackie
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll start by getting to know your medical history, daily routines, and what you hope to change. We'll review your lab work and biometrics to anchor our plan in reality, and we’ll establish 1 to 2 short-term goals to start. No need to have everything figured out beforehand; this is a collaborative chat where you can share what’s been working and what hasn’t. I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll build a practical path that fits your life and values.
