About Jacklyn
Hi there! I am a Registered Dietitian with over eight years of clinical experience, much of which I've spent working in New York City across inpatient, outpatient, and homecare settings. I've had the privilege of working with adults and older adults managing a wide range of health concerns, including diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, and weight management. I understand that health is non one-size-fits-all, and I focuse on creating personalized nutrition plans that are practical, sustainable, and aligned with each client's lifestyle, culture, and goals.
Approach to care
As a Registered Dietitian who truly loves food, my approach to care is centered on helping people feel more at ease with eating while nourishing their bodies in a way that works for their real lives. I understand how food is deeply connected to our emotions, stress, and life experiences. Rather than focusing on perfection or strict rules, I like to take the time to listen and understand each person's story and relationship with food.
Your first session with Jacklyn
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about your relationship with food, health history, your daily life, and goals. Our time together will be focused on listening, understanding, and identifying what support might be most helpful for you.
