About Jaclyn

I’m a registered dietitian who believes real change happens through small, sustainable steps not quick fixes. Over the past five years, my work in both hospital and outpatient settings has shown me how deeply nutrition is connected to real life, and how important it is to meet people where they are. I take a practical, nonjudgmental approach and love helping people make meaningful changes that lead to long term success. My goal is always to make nutrition feel realistic, approachable, and supportive. I earned my masters in clinical nutrition from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and started my counseling career at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time in my garden, starting a new house project or navigating being a new mom to a four month old.

Approach to care

Nutrition can feel overwhelming, but I believe the approach shouldn’t be. I combine evidence-based guidance with a warm, practical style that meets you where you are. Together, we’ll focus on simple, realistic steps that fit into your daily life. I’ll always explain the ā€œwhyā€ behind my recommendations so you feel confident and informed in your choices. I’m known for being easy to talk to, compassionate, and honest when it matters most. My goal is to support you in building sustainable habits that improve your health in a way that feels doable, both physically and emotionally.

Your first session with Jaclyn

Expect a relaxed, nonjudgmental conversation where we review your medical history and take a deep look at your relationship with food. We’ll talk through routines, barriers, and past attempts, then establish a couple of short-term goals together. Before you leave we’ll create a practical meal plan and concrete next steps you can try at home. You don’t need answers ahead of time, just come as you are, and we’ll build sustainable changes at a pace that feels manageable.
