About Jaclyn
As a registered dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist with over ten years of experience, I support adults who want to improve their health and better understand how food and lifestyle choices affect how they feel day to day. Many of the people I work with are managing blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, or digestive concerns and feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice or frustrated by plans that haven’t fit their routine.
Approach to care
My approach is practical and personalized. Together, we focus on changes that work with your preferences, traditions, schedule, and medical needs rather than rigid rules or extreme plans. I believe small, thoughtful steps can make a meaningful difference over time. We look beyond food alone and consider digestion, sleep habits, stress, and daily movement that supports how your body feels and functions. My counseling style is supportive, honest, and thorough, with an emphasis on clarity and realistic guidance. My goal is for you to feel more confident navigating your health, less overwhelmed by nutrition decisions, and supported in building habits that feel steady and achievable.
Your first session with Jaclyn
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to understand what’s going on in your life and health. We’ll talk about your goals, concerns, medical history, and what you’ve already tried, along with how food, digestion, sleep, stress, and daily habits fit into your routine. This is a collaborative and judgment-free conversation. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to make big changes right away. Together, we’ll identify a few clear, realistic steps that make sense for you, and we’ll use those as a starting point for building a customized plan that feels supportive and manageable.
