About Jacqueline
Hi, my name is Jackie Hodges and I've been a Registered Dietitian for over 15 years now! My biggest reason for becoming a dietitian is that I love the comfort we can have in knowing that if we engage with food and our bodies in a healthy way, we can hope for better quality and longevity of life. I am a wife and mother of two young-ish kids. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, outdoors and/or enjoying a meal whenever possible!
Approach to care
I love striking a balance between enjoying food and life, but also respecting our bodies needs by honoring our hunger, moving in fun and challenging ways and setting healthy boundaries for our life and self-care. Food and bodies that move are such a gift, so based on individual goals, I love to support others on their journey to better self-care and a healthy relationship with food.
Your first session with Jacqueline
In your first session I'll get to know a little about your nutrition history- past experience with weight changes, medical conditions that impact your daily life, food allergies, etc. Then, I like to focus on your "Why". Why are you seeking nutrition support? What are your goals for the future that will be impacted by how you are eating, drinking, and moving? By the end of the first session we'll have measurable goals to work towards and we'll continue to build on those goals until sustainable lifestyle changes are being made.
