About Jacqueline

My journey to becoming a Registered Dietitian started with my desire to explore more deeply the links between nutrition and health, and to make sense of the landscape of nutrition trends, hype, and conflicting information. My MS in Nutrition from Teachers College, Columbia University has helped to turn that curiosity into a deeper understanding of our food landscape and how it impacts us, and of the unique nutrition needs of each individual. During my training as a Registered Dietitian, I've worked in in-patient and outpatient hospital settings, in community roles and in sports nutrition, blending evidence-based practice with practical strategies and preparing me to help people build sustainable habits that fit real life and allow them to meet their health and nutrition goals. When I'm not working you'll find me kayaking, hiking, camping, knitting, or reading.

Approach to care

I practice from a health-focused, evidence based lens that honors the whole person and their individual goals and needs. We'll use current scientific research to guide clear, practical steps while addressing any practical and emotional barriers that you may be experiencing. Sessions are judgment-free and educational, so you learn skills to make informed decisions that actually stick. I'm direct about next steps and provide practical tools, and together we'll set realistic, sustainable goals that adapt as your life changes.

Your first session with Jacqueline

Plan for a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll explore your relationship with food and review your background and history. We'll talk about what brought you here, what has worked, and what feels hard, then establish a couple of short-term, achievable goals to get started. You don't need to have it all figured out. I'll listen, share evidence-based options, and together we'll choose manageable steps and resources you can begin right away. By the end we'll have clear next steps and a plan for follow-up.
