About Jaimee
Hi, Iām Jaimee Cooper! My love for food began in the kitchen, helping my grandma prepare dinner after school, and watching the Food Network on Saturday mornings with my dad. This passion led me to pursue a career as a registered dietitian, and Iāve been fortunate to practice for the past nine years. Throughout my career, Iāve had the privilege of working with individuals dealing with eating disorders, disordered eating, depression, polysubstance abuse, as well as in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, cardiac rehabilitation, sports nutrition, and general health. Each of these experiences has been invaluable in shaping me into the dietitian I am today, and Iām deeply grateful for the opportunity to help others on their journeys toward better health.
Approach to care
Nutrition isnāt a one-size-fits-all approach, which is why I focus on taking the time to understand each patientās unique history, needs, and specific goals to provide personalized care that best supports their health journey using a weight-neutral lens.
Your first session with Jaimee
In our first session, you can expect a relaxed and open conversation where weāll take time to get to know each other. Iāll ask you questions about your current health, eating habits, lifestyle, any previous nutrition challenges youāve faced, and your goals for the future. By understanding these aspects of your life, Iāll be able to better grasp your unique needs and circumstances. This will allow me to create a personalized nutrition plan thatās tailored specifically to you, focusing on achievable, realistic, and sustainable goals that fit seamlessly into your lifestyle.
