About Jamie

Hi, I’m Jamie, a registered dietitian specializing in the dietary management of diabetes, pre-diabetes, weight loss, high blood pressure, and kidney disease. With advanced training in nutrition and extensive experience working alongside patients, families, and healthcare teams, I provide evidence-based guidance tailored to each individual’s needs. My focus is on translating complex medical nutrition therapy into clear, practical strategies that improve kidney health, support lab results, and enhance quality of life. I am committed to helping people feel empowered in their nutrition choices and confident in managing their health long term.

Approach to care

You bring the commitment, and I bring the strategy and support! I work with individuals who are ready to take an active role in their health and are committed to making meaningful, lasting changes. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and results-oriented. I believe that when you are motivated and accountable, real progress is not only possible—it’s sustainable. We meet weekly to track your progress, troubleshoot challenges, and build on your successes. These regular check-ins provide structure, momentum, and a space for honest reflection. Together, we create a realistic and personalized plan that fits your lifestyle—not the other way around. Your goals, your effort, our partnership. You've got this!

Your first session with Jamie

Our first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk through your health history, current eating habits, lifestyle, and any lab results or medical needs. I want to know what works for you, and what doesn’t. From there, we’ll discuss realistic goals and create a nutrition plan that feels both doable and personalized. You’ll leave the session with practical tips you can start using right away, plus a clear idea of what steps to focus on next. Most importantly, it’s a conversation—not a lecture—so you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and share what matters most to you.
