About Jamie
Hi there, I'm Jamie - registered dietitian, first-time mom, cat lover, and adventure enthusiast! I live in Colorado with my husband, our daughter, and two cats. I am the happiest when I am spending time with my husband and our 10-month-old daughter. We love hiking in the mountains on the weekends and traveling any chance we get! I enjoy challenging myself physically and mentally - I have ran several marathons, hiked up many mountains, and I love reading research articles when I have free time. I feel extremely lucky to have found a career that fulfills my two passions: learning and helping others live happier and healthier lives.
Approach to care
I have a very individualized approach to care - every person and situation is unique and therefore their care and nutrition plan will also be unique and catered to them so habits and healthier behaviors are adopted for a lifetime. Nutrition is rarely black and white, something the media tends to ignore, and that is why 1:1 nutrition counseling is so beneficial. I work with clients to create realistic and attainable goals paired with strategies to make those goals a reality.
Your first session with Jamie

Education
Jamie holds a Master of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University, completing a dietetic internship with rotations including the University of Miami Football program, West Kendall Baptist hospital, and WIC. Additionally, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of West Florida.
Hobbies
Current first time mom so there are a lot less "hobbies" and a lot more hanging out with/being at the mercy of a baby. However, on the weekends my absolute favorite hobby is hiking in the mountains with my husband and daughter!
