About Jamie
I'm a Registered Dietitian with over 18 years of experience helping people improve their health through nutrition. My career began working in long-term care for the first 5 years and then moved into working with prenatal and postnatal women, infants and children (WIC) for the last 13 years. I enjoy working one-on-one with clients in a relaxed setting, where I can really listen and provide personalized guidance. Having worked with patients over various life stages has given me an appreciation for each stage.
Approach to care
I believe nutrition counseling works best when it's personal and collaborative. In an outpatient setting such as this, I'm able to take the time to truly listen and understand each client's needs. My goal is to provide practical, evidence-based guidance that is realistic and sustainable, by helping you make changes that fit naturally into your life. I will focus on building trust, offering support, and working together to create a plan that supports lasting health and well-being.
Your first session with Jamie
I would like to spend the first session getting to know you, what life is currently like for you and what changes you would like to make and anything you have tried before. Then we can work together to co-create small actionable goals that will move towards meeting your larger goals. Looking forward to meeting you!
