About Jamie

As a Registered Dietitian, I am passionate about helping individuals build a nourishing relationship with food while supporting their unique health and lifestyle goals. I specialize in plant-based and vegetarian nutrition, weight-loss and weight-gain strategies, exercise and performance nutrition, and the compassionate support of individuals navigating eating disorders. Outside the office, I bring the same energy and enthusiasm to life that I bring to my clients. I’m an active person who loves hiking, playing softball, kickboxing, weight-lifting, and exploring the outdoors with my three dogs. These experiences shape my understanding of real-world challenges and help me create practical, sustainable nutrition plans that fit your life, not the other way around. I can’t wait to meet you, learn about your goals, and support you on your journey toward a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.

Approach to care

My belief that food is medicine guides my practice, but so does my commitment to balance, because health is never about perfection. I don’t label foods as “good” or “bad.” Instead, I look at the bigger picture: how nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, and mindset all work together to support your overall well-being.

Your first session with Jamie

During your first session, you can expect a supportive, judgment-free conversation focused on you, your goals, challenges, and lifestyle. I take a whole-person approach, looking beyond food to consider sleep, stress, activity, and daily routines. We’ll discuss your medical history, current habits, and what brought you to nutrition counseling so I can tailor care to your needs. You’ll never hear rigid rules; instead, we’ll identify practical, realistic strategies aligned with your goals. Together, we’ll begin creating a personalized plan that feels manageable and sustainable. Most importantly, you’ll leave feeling heard, supported, and confident that you have someone in your corner ready to help you make meaningful change.
