About Janet
Food has always been central to how I connect, celebrate, and heal. Over six years as a Registered Dietitian and with an MS in Nutrition Science from California State University Los Angeles, I’ve worked in hospital clinical settings and community health. I also bring CNSC-informed clinical experience to my practice, helping me translate complex medical needs into practical plans. I’m a food-lover who wants to help you keep enjoying food while navigating the realities of life, and outside work I spend time exploring the fun things life offers.
Approach to care
Evidence guides how we make decisions, and compassion shapes how we reach them. I combine current research with a warm, nonjudgmental approach so we can focus on sustainable behavior change rather than quick fixes. We’ll set clear, practical steps and build accountability together, with lens that honors your whole life, including cultural and lifestyle factors.
Your first session with Janet
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where your story matters. We’ll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you bring, talk through routines, wins, and frustrations, and find what feels realistic for your life. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. Together we’ll identify one or two practical first steps so you leave feeling heard, valued, and empowered to move forward.
