About Janine

Hello! My name is Janine Nicolosi-Share. I have been a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist for 9 years and prior to that I was registered as a Diet Technician for 16 years. While I have an extensive background in long term care or nursing homes, my first love is helping patients with their weight loss goals. I am a full time surgical and medical weight loss Dietitian in Middle Tennessee.

Approach to care

My approach to care is person centered, meaning its all about you, the patient, and what your specific goals and desires are for health and well-being. My specialty is weight loss, GLP1s, and bariatric surgery. We will create a plan for you based on your individual needs for protein, calories, and carbs while considering your food and exercise preferences.

Your first session with Janine

During our first session together, we will develop a rapport where we get to know one another on a personal and professional basis. We will create a dialogue based on your nutrition goals, history, and medical concerns that you may have. I will ask you many questions and allow you the same to ask me any questions you like to get to know me. I will assist you in setting realistic goals. I am light hearted so expect to laugh. I am also very empathetic so I will share in your emotions right along with you! I welcome the opportunity to support you in your life journey.

Hobbies

Being that I just moved into a little country home, I spend my time organizing, decorating, and repairing my space. I have been a long time baker being born and raised in a very Sicilian household. I love traveling and spending time with my friends, children, and family. The greatest loves of my life are my grand babies!
