βJantelle took the time to get to know me and asked a lot of detailed questions about my life and preferences. I have a chaotic job that makes it difficult to establish a routine. Sometimes my job gets overwhelming and when that happens, feeding myself is the last thing I want to think about. I would usually end up just not eating. Jantelle didnt take a cookie cutter approach to her advice and instead helped me figure out creative ways to have food on hand when I needed it. I never felt judged πβ

About Jantelle
Hi! I'm so glad you are here! Originally from the West Coast, I slowly made my way to the East Coast where I now live with my amazing daughter, and husband who is in the Navy. As someone who has always wanted to help others, I continued my education at the University of North Florida where I became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I started my career in the clinical setting which has provided me much knowledge, however I am now venturing into the virtual space. I want to reach more people as I found that to achieve better health outcomes, people need support outside of the hospital.
Approach to care
I pride myself on investing time and dedication in helping people achieve their health goals. I use an evidence-based approach when providing nutrition education, and a patient-centered approach to tailor recommendations in a way that is personalized to you. I will meet you where you are on your journey and together, we will set achievable goals for long-term success. This is a non-judgmental space for you to feel confident and free to express yourself. I want to know about you, your challenges, and how I can support you in reaching your health goals. Let's do this together!
Your first session with Jantelle
In our first session, I like to break the ice and get to know you, what you are hoping to get out of our time together, and answer any questions or concerns you may have about our sessions. We will also discuss medical history, food and diet history, medications, supplement use including vitamins, minerals, and herbals. Then we may finish with identifying where you'd like to start, then creating an actionable plan by setting goals, and discussing methods to overcome potential challenges.
