About Jason
Hi, I'm Jason. I'm a Registered Dietitian based in Phoenix, with 10 years of experience helping people build healthier relationships with food. I earned my BS in Nutrition in 2012 and a Master of Science in Nutrition in 2015. My career spans clinical and hospital care, community health, and research work that contributed to a book I helped publish. I practice with a science-based, empathetic approach. Outside of work I love cooking, attending metal concerts, reading, hiking, and traveling.
Approach to care
I believe care should be collaborative, science-informed, and sustainable. My approach stays grounded in current research while staying warm and curious. We'll translate nutrition concepts into practical steps you can actually use day to day. I practice from a Health At Every Size, weight-neutral perspective and focus on behaviors rather than a number on the scale. We consider the whole person, including sleep, stress, mood, movement, and food, from a holistic view. Education is a core part of our work together, so you feel confident making informed decisions.
Your first session with Jason
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll chat in a warm, nonjudgmental space to review your medical history, your relationship with food, and your goals. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. I want to learn what matters most to you and what success looks like in your life. Together we'll establish 2 to 3 short-term goals and start a simple plan you can begin this week. We'll check in, adjust as needed, and keep the focus on sustainable, real world change.
