About Jeanette

Hi, my name is Jeanette Poillucci, MS, RD—a registered dietitian with a Master of Science degree and over 20 years of experience helping people improve their health through food and lifestyle changes. In private practice, I work with individuals to create personalized, realistic nutrition plans that support long-term wellness. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of health concerns, including weight management, diabetes, heart health, digestive issues, and food sensitivities. I know that nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I take the time to understand your unique needs, preferences, and goals.

Approach to care

My approach is all about making healthy eating approachable, flexible, and sustainable. I focus on small, meaningful changes that fit into your daily life—not restrictive diets or quick fixes. Whether you’re trying to feel better, boost your energy, manage a condition, or simply eat more mindfully, I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way. Food should be something that brings nourishment and joy—not stress. If you’re ready to make positive, lasting changes to your health, I’d love to work with you.

Your first session with Jeanette

Your first session with me will be a collaborative conversation, not a lecture or judgment. The goal is to understand you—your needs, preferences, and goals—so nutrition support fits your life. We will spend time discussing: • Your health history and any medical conditions • Past experiences with food, dieting, or weight changes • Daily routines, work schedule, stress, sleep, and activity • Cultural food preferences, food access, cooking skills, and budget • What feels hard right now—and what has worked in the past Instead of being told what to do, we will work together to identify goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you, such as: • Improving energy or digestion • Managing a medical condition • Supporting weight changes (if desired) • Building a healthier relationship with food Your readiness for change is respected—small steps are encouraged.

Hobbies

I enjoy an active, wellness-focused lifestyle that blends movement, nourishment, and time outdoors. I find joy in being outside, whether walking, hiking, or simply spending time in nature, which supports both physical health and mental well-being.
