About Jenna
Hi!! Iām Jenna, a Registered Dietitian serving Springfield, Kentucky. I bring 2 years of experience across clinical and hospital settings, community health, a gym environment, NICU infant nutrition formula work, and a feeding tube placement team. I earned my BS in Food and Nutrition with a psychology minor from Eastern Kentucky University and a MS in Nutrition and Food Systems from the University of Kentucky. I completed a 1200-hour internship through UK Healthcare. When Iām not yapping about all things nutrition, I love cooking and baking, running, thrifting, crafting, and reading. Iām here to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Approach to care
Care thrives when science meets compassion and, together, we'll move forward. My approach is evidence-based yet warm and nonjudgmental, so you feel seen and understood. I'm direct and action-oriented, turning research into clear steps that fit your life and priorities. I practice with a weight-neutral, HAES-inspired mindset and a holistic view that treats mental, emotional, and physical health as one story. Education is key, empowering you to make informed choices for sustainable, long-term habits.
Your first session with Jenna
Our first appointment is a warm, collaborative conversation about you. Thereās no pressure or judgment here. Weāll start by reviewing your medical history, current routines, and goals, then explore your relationship with food and what matters most to you. Weāll set 1ā2 short-term, realistic goals to build momentum and outline practical steps to reach them. You donāt need to have it all figured out yet; just show up as you are, and weāll navigate the next steps together at Nourish.
