About Jenna

Hi, I’m Jenna! I’m a registered dietitian who grew up in North Carolina and now calls the West Coast home. I’ve been practicing since 2018, with a primary focus on diabetes prevention and management. I became a dietitian because I’m passionate about helping people during moments when they want—or need—to make changes but aren’t sure where to begin. Food plays a huge role in our lives. It fuels us, but it’s also deeply tied to culture, memories, and the way we connect with others. When health concerns arise or lifestyle changes feel necessary, food can quickly become overwhelming or guilt-filled. My goal is to help you rebuild a positive, confident relationship with food—one that supports both your health and your enjoyment of life.

Approach to care

I believe in an “all foods fit” approach. This means there’s room for enjoyment, flexibility, and real life while still working toward meaningful health goals. I take a collaborative, judgment-free approach, meeting you where you are and building on what’s already working for you. Together, we’ll focus on small, realistic steps that fit into your lifestyle and lead to sustainable change over time. Life is busy, and perfection isn’t the goal—progress is. Rather than focusing on one meal, day, or week that didn’t go as planned, we’ll zoom out and focus on patterns, consistency, and long-term success.

Your first session with Jenna

In our first session, my priority is getting to know you—not just your nutrition goals, but what matters most to you and the “why” behind your goals. We’ll review your health history, discuss any concerns that brought you to nutrition counseling, and talk through your past experiences with food and behavior change. By the end of the session, we’ll identify one or two small, achievable goals for you to work on before our next visit. You’ll leave with clarity, direction, and a personalized plan that feels doable and supportive—not overwhelming.
