About Jennifer
I am a native Houstonian and have been a dietitian for over 30 years. I met my husband of 29 years at my first job as a dietitian at a local hospital and we are blessed to have 3 grown boys. I am also extensively trained in the DISC model of human behavior and am a certified coach. When I am not working I enjoy cooking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
Approach to care
I like to work with my patients in understanding their needs and desires and crafting a plan to help them achieve their goals. Lifestyle changes take time and patience and are often not a quick fix. I believe that my job is to teach, guide, coach, and encourage my clients along this journey, helping to navigate the bumps and detours along the way. Success is a step by step process and I am excited to help others in their walk towards better nutritional health.
Your first session with Jennifer
I like to get to know my clients needs, habits, and understanding of their current health status. I will teach them the proper diet to follow, give them insight into how the diet affects their health, and provide practical ways to implement changes right away. Lastly, I will work with them to get short term and long term goals set for success.
