About Jennifer

Hi, I am Jenn Clampitt. I am looking forward to working with you on your health journey! I am a doctor of clinical nutrition and a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES). I live with my husband and my two cats in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I have a daughter who is a sophomore in college. When I read, I usually read something that helps me keep up with current scientific nutrition research or a biography. I am one of those rare people who actually enjoy public speaking because I like seeing people's faces as they learn new things. It is very rewarding. In fact, I love everything about being an RD, but especially the ability it gives me to build relationships with my clients and patients.

Approach to care

I have a patient-centered approach to my practice. I want my patients and clients to feel like equal members of the care team. I want to help you find the motivation you need to meet your nutrition-related goals. Although my speciality is diabetes, I have a background in bariatric surgery-related nutrition and weight management, ALS nutrition support, care of older adults, and the special needs of those experiencing substance use disorder.

At your first session, I want to get to know all about you, your nutrition goals and lifestyle. We will work together to help you find your motivation to make a behavior change that will help you meet those goals. We will make a goal that is specific, measurable, realistic, and time-bound. Let's get started!
