About Jennifer
Hi, Iām Jennifer! Iām a registered and licensed dietitian with over 17 years of experience helping people build a healthier relationship with food and their bodies. I earned my bachelorās degree in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee and my masterās degree in Clinical Nutrition from East Tennessee State University. Over the years, Iāve had the privilege of working one-on-one with individuals from all walks of lifeāsupporting them in discovering how nutrition can truly enhance their health, energy, and confidence.
Approach to care
My philosophy is built on three key pillars: kindness, education, and realism. Kindness: My first priority is to make you feel comfortable, supported, and understood. I want you to know that Iām on your side and that weāre in this together. Lasting change begins with compassionāfor yourself and for the process. Education: Nutrition can feel confusing and overwhelming, especially with all the mixed messages out there. I love helping you make sense of it allāunderstanding how food works in your body and how to use that knowledge to support your unique goals. One of my favorite parts of this work is seeing a clientās face light up when something finally āclicks.ā Realism: Real, sustainable change happens when we set small, realistic goals that fit your life, your schedule, your family, and your preferences. Together, weāll break free from perfectionism and unrealistic expectations and focus instead on progress, flexibility, and what truly works for you.
Your first session with Jennifer
I know it takes courage to make that first appointment, and I truly admire you for taking that step. During our first session, Iāll take time to get to know youāwhat your daily life looks like, your health concerns and goals, your nutrition and medical history, and what you hope to gain from working with a dietitian. From there, weāll create a personalized, realistic plan designed to support your goals and help you feel your best.
