About Jennifer

Hi, I'm Jennifer (Jennie), a Registered Dietitian based in Mesa, Arizona. With 15 years of experience across clinical settings and research work, I aim to translate science into practical guidance you can live with. I earned an a BS and MS in Human Nutrition from ASU, and I also hold an EdD in Higher Education from GCU. My career has included clinical care and academic research, which helps me bring evidence into everyday food choices. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, decorating, party planning, singing, and trying out as a newbie power walker. I look forward to meeting you and learning your story.

Approach to care

My care is evidence-based, empathetic, and collaborative. I ground our plan in current science and practical steps, and I explain concepts in plain language so you can decide what fits your life. I practice through a Health At Every Size lens, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes, and I honor your experiences and values. We work together to understand your relationship with food and your body, aiming for long-term health through education, support, and accountability. You deserve care that is compassionate and empowering.

Your first session with Jennifer

Our first appointment is a warm, judgment-free conversation about you. We’ll review your medical history and explore your relationship with food, listening for what matters most to you. You don’t need to have everything figured out yet; we’ll take it step by step. Together, we’ll set short-term goals that feel achievable and meaningful, and I’ll help you understand what those steps look like in your daily routine. I’m here to support you as we begin this collaborative journey.
