About Jennifer
Hi, I'm Jennifer. I'm a Registered Dietitian with a goal of bringing practical, compassionate guidance that fits real life. I've been a dietitian for 30 years, but also a mom, teacher, and juggler of all things. When I’m not at my desk, you’ll find me spending time with my family, lost in a book, out for a walk with my dog, or trying a new needle craft. My work is about helping people nourish themselves with kindness and build a relationship with food that feels sustainable and hopeful, taking into account your lifestyle and goals.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends science and heart. I practice an evidence-based approach that respects your values and meets you where you are. We’ll work together to translate research into personalized clear, doable steps that fit into your day. I aim to be encouraging, nonjudgmental, and educational, helping you understand your body and choices so you can sustain lasting changes and realistic strategies. We'll work together to build a foundation of balanced nutrition and achievable goals.
Your first session with Jennifer
Our first appointment is about you. We’ll create a judgment-free, low-pressure space where you can share your relationship with food, your history, and your goals. You don’t need to have it all figured out yet. Together we’ll set 1–2 short-term goals that are realistic and meaningful, creating a practical path you can begin right away while we learn what works best for you. A typical session is 60 minutes. You don't need to prepare anything, but feel free to bring recent lab work, a list of medications, or even a food diary if you have one. Most importantly, come as you are.
