About Jennifer

I’m a Registered Dietitian with a background in military service, clinical nutrition, and complex care management. I specialize in working with individuals and families navigating unique challenges—whether that’s managing chronic disease, supporting children with special needs, or addressing nutrition in the context of oncology, GI issues, eating disorders, or recovery. As both a provider and a parent of children with feeding and developmental needs, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience into my practice. My approach is inclusive, trauma-informed, and affirming of all bodies and identities.

Approach to care

I believe nutrition is about more than food—it’s about dignity, resilience, and building systems of support that actually work in real life. I take a collaborative, client-centered approach that blends evidence-based nutrition science with your values, preferences, and circumstances. My style is compassionate but practical: I’ll listen first, meet you where you are, and help break down overwhelming goals into manageable steps. I use a HAES-aligned, trauma-informed lens, which means no judgment, no one-size-fits-all prescriptions—just individualized care that respects your lived experience.

Your first session with Jennifer

Your first session is about connection and understanding. We’ll talk through your health history, daily routines, challenges, and goals. I’ll ask questions to understand not just your nutrition needs, but also your lifestyle, support systems, and any barriers you face. Together, we’ll outline clear, realistic next steps and create an initial plan tailored to you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a practical framework to build on in follow-up sessions.
