About Jennifer
Hi, I'm Jennifer! I've been a registered dietitian for over nine years, and I have a passion for helping people break out of the cycle of restrictive dieting to find joy in food and movement. I'm well-versed in managing health conditions such as prediabetes/diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure through nutrition therapy. I also specialize in pre/postnatal nutrition, emotional eating, and plant-based diets.
Approach to care
I use an evidence-based approach to help you meet your health goals in a sustainable way. My practice incorporates regular use of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size principles. Rather than setting food rules and taking things away, I prefer to focus on nutrient-dense foods and healthy habits we can ADD to your lifestyle.
Your first session with Jennifer
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, and to help me learn all about your history, health goals, and current eating and lifestyle habits. From there, we'll work together to identify action items and get started with nutrition education and goal setting. Our sessions will always be a judgement-free zone!
