  • Jennifer is helping me during my third trimester of pregnancy to help set up healthy behaviors for baby and myself. I have made so much progress over our few sessions. My relationship with myself and with food and nutrition is improving so much each week. Jenn provides a really good mix of practical tips as well as thoughtful and deep self-work. I feel like I am on a really solid path and really believe that with her help I will reach all of my personal health goals.

  • My idea of a nutritionist was someone who’d set me a meal plan and ask me to follow it but Jennifer delves into so much more than that. She tries to understand a holistic picture about my habits outside of food and previous relationship with food. Its so easy to have a conversation with her. She focuses on inculcating sustainable behaviors, building a healthy relationship with food and not being obsessed over hitting the right macros.

About Jennifer

Hi there! I am a registered dietitian who is inspired by the essential roles that food and nutrition play in our lives. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey and a Master's Degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Montclair State University. I am currently working towards obtaining the certification to be a Intuitive Eating Counselor. I have experience in both hospital and counseling settings, and I love being able to build genuine relationships with my clients. I am the ultimate cheerleader and I love to celebrate my clients' wins!

Approach to care

My goal is to make nutrition approachable by stripping away weight stigma and helping people rediscover how to have fun with food! I provide care that is person-centered, weight-inclusive, and evidence-based. I believe that everyone deserves delicious, nourishing food that doesn't cost an arm and a leg (or require hours in the kitchen) to prepare. My non-diet approach is rooted in intuitive eating - together, we'll work towards small, sustainable behavior and mindset shifts that can have lasting impacts on both physical and mental health.

Your first session with Jennifer

In our first session, we will review your health history and discuss what drew you into nutrition counseling. We'll talk about your relationship with food, your current habits, any diets you've tried in the past, as well as food likes/dislikes and allergies/intolerances. This is a time to get to know each other and discuss your unique nutrition goals! In follow-up sessions, we'll measure celebrate your successes and talk about any barriers that are getting in the way.
