About Jennifer
Welcome! I'm Jenny β born in Peru, raised under the Florida sun, and now calling New York home with my husband and our Shiba Inu. I'm passionate about the outdoors, family time, health, and travel. My work is centered on helping others discover realistic and sustainable ways to improve their nutrition and overall well-being. I believe that small, intentional changes can lead to lasting transformation β and that everyone is capable of creating a healthier, more balanced life.
Approach to care
With nearly five years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, I specialize in providing individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), counseling, and education to support clients across a wide range of health conditions and life stages. My goal is to empower individuals to make informed, sustainable nutrition choices that not only support physical health but also foster a positive and balanced relationship with food. My areas of expertise include type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, prenatal and postpartum nutrition, pediatric and adult weight management, hypertension, high cholesterol, fatty liver, and general healthy eating. I take a compassionate, whole-person approach that respects your lifestyle, preferences, and unique needs. Whether you're managing a chronic condition or simply aiming to feel your best, Iβm here to support you with evidence-based guidance and ongoing encouragement every step of the way.
Your first session with Jennifer
During our initial session, I take the time to understand your current and past eating habits, gastrointestinal symptoms, digestion, cultural or personal food preferences, and how your daily routine, work, or stress levels may be influencing your choices. If appropriate, we will collaboratively identify 2β3 practical, personalized nutrition goals to guide your journey toward improved health.
