About Jennifer
Jennifer has been working as a registered dietitian since 2013. She is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. After completing her dietetic internship, she went on to work through several large hospital systems throughout New York City in various inpatient and outpatient settings. She specializes in managing diabetes, women's health, heart disease, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, chronic kidney disease, and liver disease. She is a strong believer that you can eat everything that you love and still meet your health goals, and that a massive diet overhaul is never the answer.
Approach to care
Jennifer likes to collaborate with her clients to find sustainable and manageable lifestyle changes. Jennifer strongly believes that you make the changes that fit your life, and not the other way around. No two people are the same and your treatment will be uniquely tailored to your needs and lifestyle.
Your first session with Jennifer
In your first session, Jennifer will take the time to truly get to know you, your diet history, your medical history, what has worked or hasn't worked for you in the past, and why. Together you will take the first few steps in your health journey with you in the driver's seat. Jennifer is also open to your ideas, needs, expectations, limitations, and feedback to make sure you get the most out of your sessions.
