About Jennifer
Howdy! My name is Jennifer Motz and I am a dietitian in College Station, TX (Gig'em Aggies!). I have been a practicing dietitian for 10 years. Most of my professional experience has been with kidney patients, but I have a lot of personal experience with weight management and with GLP-1 medications as well! I love all types of food (even "junk" food) and my favorite part of being a dietitian is learning about new foods from my patients.
Approach to care
I am all about meeting my patients where they are at and finding small changes that they can easily work into their lifestyle. I know that everyone is coming from a different place and will need different supports. Teaching my patients about nutrition so that they have the tools they need to make healthy choices is my primary goal as a dietitian.
Your first session with Jennifer
In your first session, you can expect to discuss why you're seeing a dietitian, what your goals are, and what your current diet and lifestyle look like. We will talk about your cooking habits, where you shop, and which restaurants you like to eat at. Once we figure out your baseline and the resources that you have available, we will start identifying areas to make changes and create a plan that is manageable for you!
