Patient reviews

  • β€œI've been working with Jennifer since July and it is now September. I couldn't have made a better choice. She is very encouraging and has very good ideas on how to enhance how/what I eat based on the good things I already ate or things I've tried since working with her. She lets me know it's about progress not perfection, and thinks I'm doing much better at my efforts than I do, which keeps me going. She doesn't judge and she understands, which I appreciate. I enjoy working with her. β€œ

About Jennifer

I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with almost 20 years of experience helping people manage diabetes and cardiovascular conditions through realistic lifestyle changes. Born and raised in the Detroit suburbs, I moved to North Idaho two decades ago for the incredible mountain views and much better air quality. I'm all about focusing on what actually matters – how you feel, your energy levels, and your overall well-– rather than getting obsessed with scale numbers. I'm also a CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) and really enjoy helping people get better control of their blood sugars through both lifestyle changes and medication management.

Approach to care

I work with people to create strategies that actually fit into real life, not those perfect meal plans that completely fall apart the moment things get hectic. My goal is helping you build habits that stick and genuinely make you feel better. I'm big on practical solutions over restrictive rules, and celebrating progress instead of chasing perfection. Over the years, I've seen that staying resilient and optimistic makes all the difference in long-term success.

Your first session with Jennifer

We'll spend time getting to know each other – talking through your health history, what you're struggling with, and what you're hoping to achieve. I want to understand your lifestyle and what's getting in your way so we can build a plan that actually works for you. You can expect our conversations to be collaborative and completely judgment-free, focusing on finding what works for your specific situation.
