About Jennifer
Hi Iâm Jennifer! I have four years of experience combined from working as a clinical dietitian in a hospital setting working with a variety of patients of all ages, conditions, and disease states and outpatient clinic working with clients in the community of many ages, backgrounds, and conditions. I specialize in gut health and food allergies, womenâs health through all life-stages, and managing chronic conditions like high blood pressure and high cholesterol. My approach is grounded in science-based strategies and realistic whole-food habits that help you build sustainable eating patterns, reduce symptoms, and regain energy all while fitting into your busy life. I believe that food should nourish both body and mind, and that healthy eating doesnât have to mean deprivation. Instead, it means using intentional nutrition to support your health goals and manage symptoms in a way that works for your life.
Approach to care
I partner with you to build a nutrition approach that is rooted in science, evidenced based and designed for your real life. My ultimate goal is to help you create goals that are attainable and we can build on to create healthy lasting habits. We go over your health history, current habits (good and bad), values, and what has been holding you back. From there, we look beyond just what you eat and explore how you live: your busy schedule, stress levels, sleep patterns, food surroundings, and what routines work (and which donât) in your day-to-day. Next, we create a truly personalized plan: realistic, whole-food-centered habits, strategies to reduce symptoms, stabilize energy, support gut health, navigate womenâs health across life-stages, or manage chronic conditionsâwhatever your goal is. I know how busy life can get, so the emphasis is always on whatâs achievable and sustainable rather than strict or overwhelming rules.
Your first session with Jennifer
Your first session is about connection with me and creating a foundation for change. Hereâs what you can expect when in your first 55 minute session with me: Weâll begin with a conversation Iâll ask about your reasons for working together, your goals, your food history, personal history, any symptom or health challenges. Weâll review your current habits, routine, and lifestyle. Next weâll initiate goals that align with your foundation for change and youâll leave the session with clarity on what weâll do next, and what to work on between now and our next meeting.
