About Jenny
Hi! Beyond my work as a dietitian, I enjoy staying active through weight lifting and outdoor walks, balancing movement with plenty of rest and enjoyment. I’m an avid reader, love binge-watching shows, and never turn down a good movie marathon. Of course, food is a big part of my life too! I genuinely enjoy eating and believe it should be both nourishing and enjoyable. Professionally, I also work in the clinical setting at an acute care hospital in St. Louis, where I’ve gained experience across a wide range of nutrition care needs. When I’m not working or enjoying my favorite hobbies, I’m busy planning my upcoming wedding this April, so life is full and exciting these days! I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with such amazing clients, like yourself.
Approach to care
I believe in an approach to nutrition counseling that is individualized, collaborative, and evolves with the client. I strive to meet them where they are, uncover their strengths, and instill confidence around food and health decisions. Food and nutrition should be grounded in balance, supporting health while still allowing enjoyment and flexibility. Sessions focus on practical, sustainable strategies that fit real life, while providing compassionate guidance and accountability. By combining support and that encouraging push they've been missing, I am able to help clients turn intentions into meaningful progress and lasting change.
Your first session with Jenny
In our first session, we will start by creating a comfortable, no-pressure space where you can share openly. We'll spend time getting to know each other and talking about your goals, both the ones you already have and the ones we may uncover together. From there, we'll explore your health history and daily routines, share education that's relevant to you, and create realistic goals and strategies that fit your life. We'll wrap up by reviewing key takeaways, discussing what to expect moving forward, and reinforcing your confidence so you leave feeling supported. My overall goal is to guide you in reaching those goals and to help you build confidence and comfort in yourself and your health.
