About Jerry
I became a dietitian because I'm passionate about helping people feel confident and in control of their health through food. With over 20 years of experience, I love to empower patients with knowledge that can help them thrive, creating lasting habits throughout life. I have significant experience in supporting patients with a variety of nutritional needs, with a focus on weight management, type 2 diabetes, chronic GI symptoms, cancer, and chronic kidney disease. My mission is to make nutrition approachable, personalized, and sustainable for every patient I work with.
Approach to care
My approach is supportive, realistic, and tailored to each person’s lifestyle. Whether someone is managing a medical condition or simply trying to build healthier habits, I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to provide guidance and support, with compassion and clear, practical strategies that make nutrition easier to understand—and even enjoyable.
Your first session with Jerry
Your first session is all about getting to know you and your health goals so we can create a plan that works for your life. We’ll talk about your medical history, current medications, lifestyle, and eating patterns. This helps me understand your body, your needs, and any conditions you may have, like diabetes, kidney issues, or digestive concerns. We’ll work together to set goals that are achievable and meaningful to you—whether it’s losing weight, improving digestion, managing blood sugar, or supporting kidney health. Practical Nutrition Guidance: I’ll share tips, meal ideas, and strategies you can start using right away. My focus is on realistic, flexible approaches—nothing overly restrictive. Feel free to ask anything! I’m here to help you understand your nutrition, your condition, and how to make food work for you. Plan for Your Next Steps We’ll outline a follow-up plan if needed, including ways to track progress and adjust your nutrition as your needs change.
