About Jessi

I’m a young, energetic professional passionate about health, food, and sustainability. I’m a proud pet parent to a dog and a cat and value spending quality time with my husband. Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring culinary creations, gardening, or living a plant-friendly lifestyle. Food has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was fascinated by food's ability to nourish and bring people together. This led me to earn a degree in Human Nutrition and Foods from West Virginia University in 2023 and a Master’s in Dietetics from Marshall University in 2024. In 2025, I earned the Certified Breastfeeding Specialist credential, allowing me to support mothers in their breastfeeding journeys. While my passion is women's health, I focus on improving overall health by helping individuals of all genders optimize nutrition and build sustainable habits for lasting wellness.

Approach to care

My approach focuses on helping you make gradual, realistic changes to improve your relationship with food and ensure long-term success. I believe in taking small, manageable steps to build confidence and create lasting habits without feeling overwhelmed. The goal is not drastic changes but empowering you with tools and knowledge for sustainable improvements at your own pace. Growing up in a small town, I understand the challenges of making lifestyle changes, especially with something as personal as food. Healing a relationship with food isn’t always easy, but I’m here to meet you where you are and help overcome obstacles in a way that feels comfortable. My personal experiences with food, combined with my education, allow me to offer a compassionate, empathetic approach. I’m here to support you in making lasting, meaningful changes, creating a judgment-free environment where you can make decisions that enhance your well-being.

Your first session with Jessi

In our first session, we’ll focus on goal setting and creating a plan that’s tailored to your needs. We’ll take time to reflect on what you’ve tried in the past, what has worked well for you, and what hasn’t. From there, we’ll adjust your goals and approach to craft a plan that’s realistic and effective for your unique situation. This initial session is all about getting to know you and understanding your personal goals and expectations. I want to listen carefully to what you’re hoping to achieve so that I can provide the best support possible. It’s important to me that you feel heard and understood from the very start, so we can build a partnership that helps you reach your health and wellness objectives.
