About Jessica

Hi all! I am a compassionate, down to earth dietitian who enjoys educating and meeting patients where they are at in their health journey. About 13 years ago, I discovered first hand the importance of creating healthier habits which led to feeling energetic, positive and seeing results! Since becoming a dietitian, I have expanded my skillset and counseled people in a variety of settings - diabetes and endocrine management, 1:1 weight management counseling, gastroenterology, renal, cardiology, holistic and integrative nutrition. I have extensive knowledge in meal prepping/planning, weight loss for busy, working individuals and exercise/activity - wherever you're at in your journey, I'm ready to be apart of your team (:

Approach to care

I tend to take a practical and down to earth approach to create realistic goals and changes to day-to-day life. I look at nutrition through an "80/20" lens - I will always support a life full of enjoyment, confidence and mindfulness. Together, we'll build a foundation on balance, mindfulness by creating achievable goals that promote long-term healthy habits.

Your first session with Jessica

We will get to know one another by reviewing your goals, expectations, and general nutrition-based history. Think of it as a relaxed and supportive conversation - no pressure, no judgement. You don't need to prepare anything special, but feel free to bring any recent labs, a list of medications, or even a food diary if you have one. We will discuss the foundation and framework for nutrition. We will end our session by formulating SMART goals: specific, measurable, realistic, timely, and achievable.
