About Jessica

Hi, I’m Jess, a dietitian in the Greater Seattle Area. I specialize in weight loss, weight management, thyroid health, heart health, plant-based eating, gut health, food allergies and sensitivities, celiac disease, IBS, and all types of elimination diets. My approach is practical, supportive, and rooted in real life. Beyond nutrition counseling, I’ve worked in dietary supplements, food systems, and higher education foodservice, helping create healthier, more supportive food environments. My expertise in ingredient quality and specifications has been central to all of my work, ensuring that the ingredients you choose are both nutritious and suited to your unique dietary needs.

Approach to care

I’m so glad you’re here! My goal is to make nutrition feel manageable and supportive, not stressful. I don’t believe in "one-size-fits-all" plans or fleeting internet trends. Instead, I focus on evidence-based care that actually works for your real life. As a middle-aged woman managing Hashimoto's and a busy family, I truly get it—some days, just getting a healthy meal on the table feels like a win. I understand those challenges firsthand, and I’m here to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard. We will work as a team to tackle everything from managing chronic conditions and digestive issues to the "what's for dinner?" stress. I'll help you with healthy, practical meal planning that fits your schedule and food preferences, so you can spend less time worrying about what to eat and more time feeling good.

Your first session with Jessica

In our first session, I’d love to get to know the real you! We’ll chat about what brought you here, what you enjoy, and what you’re hoping to achieve. We will also walk through your medical history and lifestyle together so I can get a clear picture of your needs. By the time we wrap up, you'll walk away with at least one clear long-term goal and a short-term goal or two to help you start working toward it right away. I am currently only available for Saturday appointments. During our first appointment, we’ll set a few short-term goals together to reach your long term goal and figure out what kind of support or accountability works best for you. At the end of the session, you’ll choose a few small goals to focus on for the week ahead, and we’ll schedule a follow-up to keep the momentum going. I’ll be here to help you stay on track, adjust as needed, and celebrate your progress along the way. You don’t have to do this alone!
