About Jessica
If youâre overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice and having trouble understanding what your body truly needs, youâre not alone! I'm Jess - a compassionate registered dietitian who enjoys taking a holistic, weight-inclusive approach to helping clients rebuild trust with food and honor their bodyâs natural wisdom. While women's health and pediatric care are specific areas of expertise and passion, I support anyone ready to make lasting health changes and reduce food anxiety. Using motivational interviewing and functional nutrition principles, I guide clients beyond food confusion to achieve lasting wellness by discovering a peaceful relationship with their unique body and with all foods.
Approach to care
In our work together, youâll experience a therapy style that prioritizes your voice and wisdom. You are the expert in your lived experiences! Iâll ask thoughtful questions to help you uncover what health changes matter the most to you and why. Youâll notice I strive to listen deeply, reflect back what I hear, and help you connect your food choices to your personal values and goals. Instead of giving you a "one size fits all" nutrition prescription, we will work together to discover the root causes of your health issues and then create realistic, long-term solutions tailored specifically to you. Whether weâre exploring what âfeeling betterâ means to you or identifying one small, exciting step forward, my main role is to create a safe space where you feel empowered to make healthful choices aligned with your life.
Your first session with Jessica
Our first visit will feel like a "get to know you" style of conversation, where your experiences and goals will take center stage. We'll begin by exploring what brings you hereânot just your health history or challenges with food, but what truly matters to you about feeling well. Whatever health challenges you're navigating, this is a space where all thoughts and feelings are welcome. From there, we'll blend science with your wisdom. I'll share insights and ideas when you're ready, but first, we'll uncover what changes feel exciting and doable for your life. You'll leave each session feeling empowered to experimentâhaving identified 1-2 realistic steps forward that align with your priorities. I provide nutrition care that honors your autonomy while providing you with compassionate support and expertise every step of the way. My goal is to help you discover your own path to thriving in this lifeâin your body, in your mind, and in your relationship with food!
