About Jessica
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Registered Dietitian who's passionate about helping people feel their best through simple, sustainable nutrition. I currently work in a cardiac ICU, where I've seen firsthand how much a difference good nutrition can make for heart health and recovery. I earned my degree in Dietetics from the University of Northern Colorado and recently relocated from Colorado to North Carolina. When I'm not working, you can usually find me exploring new hiking trails with my German Shepherd, Summit, or checking out local coffee shops.
Approach to care
I love supporting clients who want to improve their heart health and feel more confident about their food choices. My approach is all about balance - creating realistic, sustainable habits that fit your lifestyle while still enjoying the foods you love. I focus on progress over perfection and helping you build a positive relationship with food that lasts.
Your first session with Jessica
During our first session, we'll take time to get to know each other and talk through your goals, lifestyle, and what brings you to nutrition counseling. I'll ask questions to better understand your health history, daily habits, and any challenges you've faced so we can build a plan that truly works for you. My goal is for you to leave our first visit feeling heard, supported, and with a clear idea of our next steps - whether that's small changes to start with or a long-term strategy for reaching your goals.
