About Jessica
My interest in food and nutrition began as a teen working for a local farm in Maine and in the restaurant industry. During my undergraduate program I took a nutrition science course and my love of both food and science was a match made in heaven. I'm a master's level dietitian with 15+ years of experience and I've been a board certified specialist in renal nutrition since 2014. I live in Massachussetts with my husband, 2 sons, 2 cats, and 1 dog. I love to travel, read, hike, and of course cook!
Approach to care
When it comes to kidney disease and other health conditions, diet and nutrition information can be confusing and scary. My passion is to help empower people with evidenced based nutrition guidance that is realistic and custom tailored to each individual. My approach to nutrition is all about balance! While nutrition is important, I believe in a holistic approach to health and well being.
Your first session with Jessica
Our first session is all about getting to know one another. You should expect to be greeted with a warm and open environment in a judgment free zone where you can feel comfortable sharing your health goals. It is also a great opportunity for me to learn more about your health and nutrition history so I'll be asking you lots of questions to help support you as best as I can. We will also spend our first session identifying a roadmap to help you reach your health goals.
